Back in the 20th century, during a tough time known as the Vietnam War, Nanxishan Hospital did something amazing. For eight years, they opened their doors to help over 5,000 patients from neighboring Vietnam! 🌟
Imagine that! People traveled all the way from Vietnam to China to get better. The doctors and nurses worked super hard, performing 2,576 surgeries even though they didn’t have a lot of resources. That’s like helping out a whole school of kids and more!
