At a special event called the 11th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations, Professor Fuller talked about why China’s point of view is becoming more important globally. 🗺️ He believes there are two big reasons:
- The End of the Cold War: When the Cold War ended, it wasn’t just the USA and the Soviet Union (which is now Russia) leading the world anymore. This gave other countries, like China, a chance to share their ideas! 🌍
- China’s Economic Growth: China has grown super fast and is now the world’s second-largest economy! 💰✨ This means more people are noticing China and its ideas.
Professor Fuller is also a big fan of Confucius, a great Chinese teacher and thinker from a long time ago. He sees Confucius as one of the four greatest thinkers ever, alongside Socrates from Greece, Jesus, and Buddha! 🧠🌏
