From Violin to Erhu: A Dutch Girl’s Musical Journey to Shanghai

Have you ever traveled far from home to follow a dream? ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽป Meet Anastasia Fridman, a talented violinist from the Netherlands who did just that!

Anastasia loved playing the violin since she was a little girl. But one day, she heard the enchanting sounds of the erhu, a traditional Chinese instrument sometimes called the “Chinese violin.” ๐ŸŽผ It has only two strings but can express so many emotions!

Curious and excited, Anastasia decided to learn the erhu. She traveled over 8,000 kilometers from her home all the way to Shanghai, China! ๐Ÿ›ซ What an adventure!

Now, she’s studying at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, one of the best music schools in China. Here, she’s diving deep into the world of the erhu, learning new melodies, and making friends from all over the world. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ‘ซ
