The Legend of the Mud Horse 🐎
Over 900 years ago, during the late Northern Song Dynasty, a legend was born. An emperor named Zhao Gou was escaping from enemies. When he reached the Yellow River, a miracle happened! A mud horse appeared and helped him cross the river safely. 🌊🐴 This incredible story is still told today and is a big part of Madu Village’s culture.
A Visit from Far Away 🌎
On April 24, 2025, friends from Latin America and the Caribbean came to see Madu Village! 🎉 They were amazed by how the village mixes old traditions with new, modern ways. It was part of a special tour called “Journey to Chinese Civilization: Henan” led by CGTN.
A Beautiful Countryside 🌿
Now, Madu Village has neat courtyards, green fields, and tree-lined paths everywhere you look! 🌳🌾 They’ve improved their homes and even added cool tech and art projects. This helps the villagers live better lives and keeps their culture alive.
