Tea Traditions Come Alive

At the expo, experts from the famous West Lake Longjing tea region are showing off their skills. 🌿 They’re demonstrating how they pick the perfect tea leaves, how they pour water just right, and how they serve tea with elegance. It’s like watching a beautiful dance!

West Lake Longjing tea is super popular in China. It’s known for its vibrant green color, yummy aroma, sweet taste, and lovely appearance. Many people in China absolutely love it!

Keeping Traditions Vibrant

One of the managers from the West Lake Longjing tea group said that having ten heritage practitioners demonstrate together helps bring traditional tea-making into modern life. It means these old skills can keep growing and won’t be forgotten.

Over at the Fuzhou jasmine tea area, a national-level heritage inheritor named Wang Dexing showed how to blend jasmine flowers into tea. 🌸 He even invited visitors to join in and experience the magic themselves!

A Record-Breaking Year for Tea

Did you know? In 2023, China produced a record high of 3.74 million tons of tea! That’s a 5.5% increase from the previous year. That’s a lot of tea! 😮

An International Tea Party

The expo isn’t just for people from China. Tea traders from over 10 major tea-growing areas in China are there, and even some from other countries like Sri Lanka!

So, if you ever get a chance to visit a tea expo, don’t miss it! You’ll get to see, smell, and taste the wonderful world of tea, and learn about the amazing traditions that make each cup special. Who knows, you might even become a tea expert yourself! 😉
