Japanese Architect in China Explores How Buildings Connect People

Hey there! ๐Ÿ˜Š Have you ever thought about how the buildings around us affect the way we live and feel? Meet Shuhei Aoyama, a Japanese architect who has been living in China for 20 years! ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ

Back in 2015, Shuhei became famous when he appeared on a popular TV show. He took an old hutongโ€”a traditional narrow street or alley in Beijingโ€”and transformed it into an amazing living space! ๐Ÿกโœจ Isn’t that cool?

Since then, he’s been working on making old urban areas lively again, designing awesome commercial spaces, and even working on projects around the world! ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿš€

With the 2025 World Expo coming up in Osaka, Japan ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต, Shuhei talked to CGTN reporter Yang Yan about how buildings can bring people together. He believes that architecture isn’t just about walls and roofs; it’s about the connection between humans and the spaces they live in! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ

He also thinks that big events like the World Expo help countries communicate and share ideas. It’s like a giant playground where everyone shows their coolest inventions and designs! ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŒ

Isn’t it amazing how architecture can make a difference in our lives? Maybe one day, you’ll design something incredible too! ๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ๐Ÿ—๏ธ
