Discover History: New Treasures at Hong Kong Palace Museum’s China-France Exhibition!
Hey there, young explorers! 👋 Are you ready to travel back in time and discover amazing treasures from China and France? 🇨🇳🇫🇷
The Hong Kong Palace Museum has just added some awesome new artifacts to their special exhibition called “The Forbidden City and the Palace of Versailles: China-France Cultural Encounters in the 17th and 18th Centuries.”
What’s new, you ask? They’ve brought in some super cool paintings, like the “Portrait of Emperor Kangxi in Military Attire” and the “Portrait of Madame de Pompadour.” 🖼️ These are very old and rare paintings that show important people from history!
But that’s not all! There are also about 20 other rare treasures from the Palace Museum and the Palace of Versailles. You can see beautiful egg-shaped vases 🏺 from France and learn how China and France shared ideas about science, art, and even philosophy (that’s a big word that means “love of wisdom”). 🤓
This exhibition shows how the Forbidden City in China and the Palace of Versailles in France were like super cool places where people shared new ideas and art a long time ago. 🎨🏰
Want to see it for yourself? The exhibition is open until May this year. So grab your family and dive into history! ⏳
