From January 28 to February 28, you can visit the Usera Municipal Council Exhibition Hall to see 23 amazing Chinese New Year folk paintings. These artworks are created by Yue Yu, a famous painter from Xi’an, China. ππ¨
Yue Yu is not just any artistβhe’s the director of the Institute of Religious Fine Arts at Northwest University in China! His paintings are all about the color red β€οΈ and they show the fun and traditions of the Chinese New Year.
But that’s not all! The exhibition is part of the Madrid Spring Festival organized by KDH, a group that brings together China and Spain through cool events. ππ€
This year’s Madrid Spring Festival is happening in three cities:
- Madrid: February 1 to 28 πͺπΈ
- Shanghai: March 28 to 30 π¨π³
- Xi’an: April 4 to 6 π―
According to Madrid’s official tourism website, for the 10th year in a row, the city is celebrating the Chinese New Year in the Usera district. ππ
