Chinese Mainland Students Visit Taiwan, Make New Friends!

Guess what? πŸ˜ƒ Forty students and teachers from seven universities in mainland China just wrapped up an amazing nine-day trip to Taiwan! πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³βœˆοΈπŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ό

They set off on November 27th and had a blast visiting universities, historical sites, and scenic spots. They even checked out sports arenas, science and technology centers, and cultural venues. How cool is that? πŸ›οΈπŸŽ’πŸš€

Everywhere they went, they met friendly people and made lots of new friends. It’s like when you visit a new school and everyone is so welcoming! πŸ€—

Qiu Yong, a leader from Tsinghua University (one of China’s top universities), led the group. At a farewell dinner, he talked about how everyone felt a special connection between people from both sides of the Taiwan Straits. He said Taiwan has a unique charm that’s hard to forget! 🌟

He hopes that more young people from both places can learn from each other and build strong friendships. After all, we’re all part of the big family that is Chinese culture! πŸ‰πŸŒΈ

Another important person, Hsiao Hsu-tsen, who works with the Ma Ying-jeou Culture and Education Foundation (they invited the group), saw them off at the airport. He said the students and teachers were welcomed with open arms wherever they went. Isn’t that awesome? 😊

He believes that when young people from different places meet and share, it makes the world a better place. So let’s keep building those bridges of friendship! 🌐❀️
