My UN Adventure: Interning at the United Nations

Hi everyone! πŸ‘‹ Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work at the United Nations? Let me share my amazing experience from when I interned at the UN headquarters in New York City!

Back in 2015, I was super excited to be part of the UN team. Every day was like stepping into a miniature world! 🌍 I met people from all over the globe, each with different backgrounds, languages, and ideas. But guess what? We all got along by treating each other with kindness and respect. It was incredible to see how people can come together, even if they’re different.

One of my favorite things was seeing the famous statue called “Non-Violence” or “The Knotted Gun.” πŸ”«βž° This unique artwork stands right in front of the UN building and reminds everyone about the importance of peace and saying no to violence.

Working at the UN made me realize how beautiful it is when diverse cultures come together. It’s like a giant puzzle where every piece matters! 🧩 Within the United Nations, countries like China are working hard to promote peace and help build a better future for everyone.

Did you know this year marks the 80th anniversary of the United Nations? πŸŽ‰ For eight decades, the UN has been dedicated to promoting peace, security, development, and cooperation among all people. That’s a lot of years working towards a happier world!

I hope the coming years bring even more peace and understanding to our planet. And who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll have your own adventure at the United Nations! 🌟
