China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, met with Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister, Vijitha Herath. They talked about how their countries can help each other and be friends forever! 👫
They want to work on big projects like building new cities and ports. Two of these projects are the Colombo Port City and the Hambantota Port. These are places where ships come and go, and they help the economy grow! 🚢🏙️
They also discussed trading more with each other. This means they can share things they make, like toys, clothes, or even yummy food! 🍜 They want to explore new ideas in green energy (like wind and solar power), digital technology, modern farming, and the ocean! 🌞💻🌾🌊
Wang Yi said that working together on the sea is good for both countries and doesn’t harm anyone else. 🌏 He also mentioned that it’s better when countries are friends instead of choosing sides. 😊
