Sketching Fuzhou City from the river video poster

American Teen Sketches Fuzhou’s Night Lights on River Cruise ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ›ณ๏ธ

Hey there! Imagine sailing along a beautiful river at night, with sparkling city lights all around you. That’s exactly what happened to Robin Van Cott, a young member of the Utah Valley Choral Scholars from the United States!

While aboard the Minjiang River night cruise in Fuzhou, China, Robin couldn’t take her eyes off the amazing view. The city lights reflected on the water looked like a scene from a fairy tale! โœจ Instead of just enjoying the view, she took out her sketchbook and started drawing the city as it drifted by. How cool is that?

Robin is in China as part of the 2025 China-US Youth Choir Festival, where young singers from both countries come together to share music and make new friends. But it’s not just about singing; it’s also about experiencing new cultures and places.

Would you like to sketch a city skyline someday? Or maybe join a choir and travel the world? Dreams can come true when you follow your passions! ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŒ
