Hey friends! 😊 Have you ever written a letter to someone important? Well, guess what happened! Two years ago, around 40 students from Kenya wrote a special letter to President Xi Jinping of China! 🇰🇪✉️🇨🇳
These students were studying in China as part of the Belt and Road Initiative, which is a big project connecting many countries through trade and friendship. 🌍🤝
At a special event called the Global Civilization Dialogue, a Kenyan student named Jamlick Kariuki, who studies at Beijing Jiaotong University, shared an amazing story. He talked about the letter they sent and how they even included a train ticket inside! 🚂🎫
Why a train ticket? Because it symbolizes the connection and journey between Kenya and China! Isn’t that cool? 😃 The students wanted to show how grateful they are for the opportunities to learn and grow together.
