China and Thailand Celebrate 50 Years of Friendship!

Hey there! Did you know that China and Thailand have been friends for 50 years? That’s half a century of helping each other out and working together! 🤝

Recently, China’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Wang Yi, met with Thailand’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, at a big meeting called the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meetings. They talked about how their countries can be even better friends and work together on cool new projects!

Mr. Wang Yi said that China wants to help Thailand by working together on things like digital technology, artificial intelligence (that’s when computers can think like people!), and green development (which is all about keeping our planet healthy 🌍). They also want to build a super-fast railway between China and Thailand! 🚄

But that’s not all! They also talked about helping their friends, Thailand and Cambodia, who have had some disagreements over their border. China wants to help them talk it out and be friends again.

Mr. Maris thanked China for being such a good friend. He said that China and Thailand are like family! He also said that Thailand wants to work with China on things like trade, farming, and stopping crimes that happen across borders.

Both China and Thailand agreed that it’s important to work together with other countries and to trade fairly. They want to make sure that everyone plays by the rules and that no one is being unfair or bullying others.
