Hey there! Have you ever wondered how countries work together to make the world a better place? π Well, something cool happened recently! Let me tell you all about it.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi went to Malaysia to meet with friends from other countries in Asia. This meeting is called the “ASEAN Plus Three Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.” ASEAN is a group of countries in Southeast Asia, and the “Plus Three” are China, Japan, and South Korea. So they all got together to talk about important things!
Minister Wang Yi had some great ideas to share. He suggested four ways they could work together:
- Build a Connected East Asia: This means making sure all the countries work together closely, like good friends, and avoid putting up barriers between them.
- Make East Asia Strong and Safe: They want to plan how to help each other with money and food, so everyone can be strong even if there are problems in the world.
- Create an Innovative East Asia: They’re excited about new technology and ideas! They want to use innovation to make life better for everyone.
- Encourage Cultural Friendship: This is about students and young people from different countries learning together and becoming friends. They have a program called “CAMPUS Asia” to help with this.
Minister Wang Yi said that even if things are tough in the world, China wants to help everyone grow and have a brighter future together! π
Other countries agreed and said it’s important to stick together, especially when some countries might not be playing fair (like using too many tariffs or trade barriers). They believe that by working together, they can keep peace and help everyone in the region.
Isn’t it awesome how countries can come together to make big plans for the future? Maybe one day, you could be part of making the world a better place too! π€
So, remember, teamwork isn’t just important in soccer or school projects, but also between countries! When everyone works together, amazing things can happen.
