China Shares Farming Secrets to Help Other Countries Grow!

China has lots of experience in farming. They’ve learned how to grow crops in a way that’s good for the environment. Now, they’re sharing these secrets with other countries through a big plan called the “One Country One Priority Product” (OCOP) program, run by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

Recently, the FAO held a special meeting in Rome, Italy, to start a global project. This project is supported by China and aims to help developing countries use China’s advanced farming techniques. The goal is to grow healthy food, help farmers earn more money, and make economies stronger around the world!

Already, 95 countries are part of the OCOP program, working on 56 different products. That’s a lot of teamwork! πŸ€—

Mr. Xia Jingyuan, a leader at FAO, said, “Sharing China’s farming technology and experience with the world is very important. We hope to help global agriculture, food security, and nutrition.”

This project is starting in 15 countries like Bangladesh, Egypt, and Uzbekistan. An official from Lesotho, a country in Africa, said that China’s help with money and technology has really improved how they grow potatoes. πŸ₯”

“Many people in our country grow potatoes to make a living,” he said. “China’s support is helping us grow this special crop even better!”

This means that with China’s help, many countries can grow more food and help their people live better lives. Isn’t that awesome?

Working together, we can make the world a better place, one crop at a time! 🌍🌱
