Hey there! Do you like tasty bread and cakes? 🍰 Let me tell you a sweet story about a couple from Taiwan who are making delicious dreams come true!
Meet Liu Tianting and his wife, Huang Huijun. Ten years ago, they moved from Taiwan to Shenzhen, a big city in southern China’s Greater Bay Area, which includes Guangdong Province, Hong Kong, and Macao.
Liu is an award-winning baker! 🏆 Together, they opened a bakery, sharing yummy treats with everyone. But it wasn’t always easy. Sometimes, their business faced challenges, and they had to work very hard.
But do you know what kept them going? The warmth and kindness they found in their new home. 🏠❤️ People welcomed them, and they made many friends.
Now, Liu and Huang want to give back. They offer free help to young people who dream of opening their own bakeries. They’re teaching others how to bake and run a business! How cool is that? 😃
Their story is part of a documentary series called “Diaries of Taiwan Youth.” This series shows how young people from Taiwan are following their dreams in the Greater Bay Area.
