Hey everyone! Did you know that China and Ghana have been friends for 65 years? That’s a really long time—longer than your parents or even your grandparents might have been alive!
Recently, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Ghana’s Foreign Minister sent each other congratulations to celebrate this special anniversary.
Ghana was one of the first countries in Africa, south of the Sahara Desert, to become friends with China. Over the past 65 years, they’ve worked together in many ways. They’ve built trust, helped each other grow, and cooperated in international events.
Minister Wang Yi said he’s excited to keep working with Ghana to make their friendship even stronger. Ghana’s Foreign Minister thanked China for all the support they’ve given to Ghana’s development and is looking forward to more teamwork in the future.
