Guess what? An amazing Chinese cultural tour has arrived in Peru! 🇨🇳🇵🇪 On Monday, the China-Latin America Cultural Tour Exhibition opened at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Over 150 people came to check it out, including students, teachers, and fans of Chinese culture!
The exhibition is super cool! It has over 500 Chinese books 📚, including storybooks, textbooks to learn Chinese, books about traditional culture, and colorful picture books for kids. There are also more than 100 awesome cultural products showing modern Chinese creativity.
But that’s not all! Chinese artists are performing glove puppetry 🧤 and paper-cutting ✂️ right in front of everyone! It’s so much fun to watch!
A representative from China said they brought these books and cultural goodies to share the beauty of Chinese culture and to help people in Peru learn more about it. They especially hope that kids and teens, like you, will be excited to learn more about China!
Zhao Xiaoming, a counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Peru, said that China and Peru are both ancient civilizations with lots to share. He hopes more people will get to know Chinese culture and join in the fun of cultural exchange.
Maribel Temoche Cortez, from the Confucius Institute at the university, said that the exhibition is a wonderful way for people in Peru to see the charm and wisdom of China’s development. She hopes it will inspire more people to explore Chinese culture.
Even before the event started, lots of students and local residents signed up because they were so excited! 🇵🇪❤️🇨🇳
