On Thursday, China’s leaders gathered to say a final goodbye to Ragdi, a respected Tibetan leader and former vice chairman of China’s top law-making body, the National People’s Congress (NPC). Ragdi passed away at the age of 87 due to illness.
President Xi Jinping, along with other important leaders like Li Qiang and Zhao Leji, attended a solemn ceremony at the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery in Beijing. They walked slowly to Ragdi’s side, stood in silence, and bowed three times to show their respect. They also offered kind words and comforted Ragdi’s family. 🙏
