China and Spain Team Up to Make the World Better ππ€
Hey there! Did you hear the big news? China and Spain have decided to work together to make our world a better place! On Wednesday, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met with Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez in Madrid, the capital city of Spain.
They talked about being good friends and partners. Imagine two classmates teaming up on a really important school project! They agreed to help each other, support free trade (that’s when countries buy and sell things without too many rules), and make sure everyone plays fair.
This year is extra special because it’s been 20 years since China and Spain became close partners. Vice President Han said that China wants to keep being good friends with Spain. They want to visit each other more (like playdates!), trust each other, and work together on big international projects, like at the United Nations.
Right now, the world is a bit like a big playground where not everyone is getting along. China and Spain think it’s important to stick together and help others get along too. They believe that by working together, they can help make the economy (that’s how money and jobs work) better for everyone!
Prime Minister Sanchez also had some cool things to say. He thinks China’s way of supporting countries working together is really awesome, especially when some countries aren’t playing fair. He said, “There’s no winner in a tariff war!” (A tariff is like a tax on things countries buy from each other.)
Spain and China both believe in playing fair and want to keep the international trade rules in place. Spain is also super excited to have more Chinese businesses come and invest there. It’s like inviting more friends to join your group!
Both leaders hope that by working together, they can help Europe and China be even better friends. Isn’t it great when people from different places come together to make the world happier and more peaceful?
