Hey there! π Did you hear the exciting news? China is hosting the Second Belt and Road Conference on Science and Technology Exchange! π
From June 10 to 12, people from over 100 countries and organizations will gather in Chengdu, a city in southwest China’s Sichuan Province. They’ll be talking about cool topics like artificial intelligence (AI), traditional Chinese medicine, and big international science projects. π
The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a plan to help countries work together and make the world more connected. Science and technology are super important parts of this plan! π¬π
Chen Jiachang, China’s vice minister of science and technology, said, “We are committed to deepening partnerships and jointly building an open and innovative global environment.” That means they want everyone to work together to make new discoveries and inventions! π‘
During the conference, they’ll sign agreements to work together on science projects and start new programs. They even plan to kick off big international science projects led by Chinese scientists. How cool is that? π
The goal is to help science and technology improve life for people in all the Belt and Road countries. That way, we can build a more inclusive, open, and dynamic global science ecosystem. ππ€
Isn’t it awesome when countries come together to share ideas and make the world a better place? Maybe one day, you’ll be a scientist at a conference like this! π¬β¨
