Have you ever wondered how countries become friends and work together? Well, something exciting just happened!

On Thursday, the China-Central Asia Media Cooperation Forum 2025 was held in Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan. Think of it as a big meeting where people who work in TV, newspapers, and online media from different countries come together to chat about cool ideas!

The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, sent a special letter to say “Hello!” and wish the forum a great success. He talked about the Belt and Road Initiative, which is an awesome plan by Chinese President Xi Jinping to help countries work together and be better friends.

President Tokayev said, “Kazakhstan really values its friendship with China. This forum is super important because it helps us trust each other more and build stronger partnerships!

Many people at the forum agreed that mediaβ€”like TV shows, news articles, and online videosβ€”are super important for sharing stories and ideas. By working together, media people from China and Central Asian countries can tell amazing stories of friendship and teamwork!

The forum was organized by two big media groups: People’s Daily from China and the Kazakh Presidential Radio and Television Administration. Over 200 people, including media representatives, officials, experts, scholars, and business leaders, joined the event. That’s a lot of teamwork!

During the forum, they also started two exciting projects: a photo exhibition showing moments from the forum and a joint interview series about the Belt and Road Initiative. Sounds like there will be lots of interesting things to see and learn!

Isn’t it cool how countries can come together to share ideas and make the world a better place? Who knowsβ€”you might be part of such amazing events in the future!
