From May 28 to 29, representatives from Niue, the Federated States of Micronesia, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji met with Chinese leaders. They discussed how they can help each other and make the world a better place! π

Dalton Tagelagi, the leader of Niue, said that Niue and China have been friends for 50 years! π He talked about how important it is to understand and respect each other.
Lorin Robert from the Federated States of Micronesia shared ideas about working together in areas like caring for the environment, trading goods, and learning from each other. πΏπ’
Working Together for a Better Future
Marc Ati, the foreign minister of Vanuatu, is excited about China’s vision to create a community where everyone shares and supports each other. He hopes to work together in building things like roads and hospitals, growing healthy food, and protecting the planet. π₯ππΊ
Justin Tkatchenko from Papua New Guinea thanked China for helping his country grow. He mentioned the Belt and Road Initiative, a big project where countries help each other with trade and building new things. He also talked about a special school where over 3,000 students learn new skills every year! π
