Chinese Melodies Kick Off a Central Asian Adventure π΅
Imagine starting a grand adventure with the sweet sounds of music! That’s exactly what happened in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. On May 28, students from the Confucius Institute played beautiful Chinese songs to begin a two-week journey across Central Asia!
These students, dressed in traditional Chinese clothes, performed classic pieces like “Galloping Horses” and “Maiden’s Love.” Their music filled the air and brought smiles to everyone’s faces. πΆ
A Friendship Through Music
Anxin, one of the students, shared, “I really love China and Chinese culture. I believe there are many similarities between Tajik and Chinese cultures.” Isn’t it amazing how music can bring people together, even if they speak different languages?
Exploring Together
The journey is organized by CGTN and media organizations from Central Asian countries. Reporters are traveling in three eco-friendly cars to explore the region. They want to share stories about the people, places, and cooperation between China and Central Asia.
Building Bridges (and Roads!)
One exciting stop is the China-Tajikistan highway project. This important road goes over high mountains and helps connect the two countries. Suhrob Nurullo, from Tajikistan’s Ministry of Transport, said, “Once completed, this road will greatly enhance exchanges on all fronts.”
An Unforgettable Journey
Over the next two weeks, the team will see the snowy peaks of the Pamir Plateau ποΈ, the shining waters of Issyk-Kul Lake π, and the rich traditions of ancient Silk Road cities. They will share their experiences and help us all understand each other better.
This isn’t just a trip; it’s a way to build friendships and learn more about our wonderful world! Stay tuned for more adventures! π
