Hey soccer fans! ⚽ Guess what happened on Wednesday in Hohhot, in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region? China’s Under-16 soccer team had an amazing match against Saudi Arabia and won 2-1! 🎉
From the very beginning, China was super aggressive on the field. Just four minutes into the game, they made a quick attack with some awesome passes inside the box! Even though they didn’t score then, they didn’t have to wait long.
In the 12th minute, China’s goalkeeper Xu Zengfu sent a long pass down the field. Kuang Zhaolei jumped up and headed the ball to his teammate He Saifan. He Saifan dribbled into the box and cleverly chipped the ball over the Saudi goalkeeper! Goal! 🥅🎯 China was up 1-0!
But the game was far from over. In the 68th minute, Saudi Arabia fought back. Nawaf Abdullah scored from close range, tying the game at 1-1. It was getting intense! 😮
China didn’t give up. They wanted that win! During stoppage time, in the 91st minute, Xie Jin crossed the ball from the right wing. Shuai Weihao was there and scored a fantastic header! 🏃♂️💨 Another goal for China! The crowd went wild as China took the lead 2-1!
