Hey everyone! 🤖 Did you hear about the amazing robot battle in Hangzhou, China? On Sunday, the “AI Strategist” team, led by operator Lu Xin, won an epic robot combat competition hosted by China Media Group (CMG)!
In this super cool event, people controlled humanoid robots to fight one-on-one battles! They used remote controls to make the robots move and strike. Each match had three rounds that lasted two minutes each. Here’s how they scored:
- 1 point for hitting the arms 💪
- 3 points for hitting the legs 🦵
- Any hit to the front or back was valid!
- If a robot fell down, it lost 5 points! 😱
- If it couldn’t stand up, it was out!
The robots used were the awesome G1 models from Unitree Robotics, who also helped organize the event.
But that’s not all! This competition is part of the CMG World Robot Competition Series, which will also have robot football ⚽ and basketball 🏀 games! The series wants to show off cool robot technology and bring together science, culture, and tourism. It’s both fun and educational!
