Rescuers Search for Missing Villagers After Flood in South China ππ·ββοΈ
Hello readers! Today, we’re bringing you news from the Guangxi region in the Chinese mainland. A big flood, called a mountain torrent (which is a sudden rush of water down a mountain), hit a village named Sanshe in Longsheng County early on Friday morning.
Rescue teams have been working hard to find people who went missing because of the flood. So far, they have found six people who sadly lost their lives. As of Sunday evening, two people are still missing.
Nine teams of rescuers, which include brave people like firefighters and volunteers, are searching day and night. They’re combing through the area to find the missing villagers and help anyone in need.
The local authorities say that the search efforts are intense and organized. Everyone is working together to make sure they find the missing people as soon as possible.
