This amazing number shows that more and more people are super interested in China’s rich culture and history. 🏛️✨
By the end of 2024, China had a whopping 7,046 museums! 🖼️ That’s 213 more than the previous year. Now, there’s one museum for every 200,000 people in the country. Pretty cool, right?
What’s even better is that over 90% of these museums are free to visit! 😍 So, lots of people can explore and learn without spending any money.
Last year, these museums hosted more than 43,000 exhibitions and over 511,000 educational activities! 📚🖌️ That’s so many opportunities to discover new things and have fun.
These exciting numbers were shared on International Museum Day, celebrated at the Grand Canal Museum in Beijing. It’s a special day to appreciate museums all around the world! 🌎
