China’s Unmanned Mining Trucks Zoom Ahead with 5G-A Tech! 🚚✨

Each of these electric trucks can carry up to 90 tonnes (that’s like carrying 15 elephants!) 🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘. They can work in temperatures as cold as minus 40 degrees Celsius (brrrr! 🥶). To make all this happen, the mine uses super-fast internet from the 5G-A network. It has 500-megabit-per-second speeds and ultra-low delay, so the trucks can send high-quality videos and receive instructions in real-time. The company behind the cloud technology, Huawei Cloud, uses special AI algorithms to help the trucks ‘see’ and make smart decisions. Zhang Ping’an, an important leader at Huawei, says this helps move from “human-controlled” to “smart-controlled” mining.
