Hey basketball fans! 🏀 Guess what? The Guangsha Lions are just one win away from making history! They defeated the Beijing Ducks with a score of 106-73 in Game 4 of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) Finals on Wednesday.
The Lions were unstoppable! They played an amazing game on both offense and defense. Six players from their team scored more than 10 points each. Barry Brown and Lin Ping-Sheng were the stars of the game, each scoring 22 points! 🌟
On the other side, the Beijing Ducks had a tough time. Only three of their players scored in double digits. They missed many shots and had trouble keeping the ball. The Lions’ strong defense made it hard for the Ducks to score.
The game started with the Lions taking an early lead. The Ducks couldn’t score for almost six minutes! The Lions took advantage and went on a 13-0 run. By the end of the first quarter, they were ahead 25-14.
In the second quarter, the Lions kept up their energy. Barry Brown continued to score basket after basket. The Ducks tried to fight back but couldn’t catch up. The score at halftime was 53-35 in favor of the Lions.
The third quarter was more of the same. The Lions kept scoring, and the Ducks couldn’t stop them. By the end of the third quarter, the Lions led by a huge margin, 82-52. The game was pretty much decided by then.
Now, the Lions are leading the series 3-1. That means if they win the next game, they will be the champions for the first time ever! 🏆 The next game will be in their home city, Hangzhou, this Saturday.
