Wuxi, a city in Jiangsu Province, has started a special bus service where pets are welcome aboard. That means you and your furry friends can explore the city together, even if you don’t have a car!
“This special bus line not only solves our parking problems, but also lets us enjoy outings with our beloved dogs,” says Gu Ye, a happy pet owner.
But that’s not all! Wuxi is becoming super pet-friendly. In the Binhu District, there are places where you can eat, relax, and have fun with your pets. Imagine going to a café where your dog gets a treat too! 🍔🐕
They even have cool activities like hiking on pet-friendly trails and pet-themed sports events. “We’ve introduced fun activities like hiking with pets along a pet-friendly trail,” says Yang Jianjiang, a local official. “We regularly host pet-themed sports events at cafés, restaurants, and scenic spots to expand pet-friendly experiences.”
These spots are becoming popular hangouts for pet lovers to meet and make new friends. During this year’s May Day holiday, a pet-friendly shopping area in Binhu District saw a 12% increase in visitors compared to last year! That shows how much people love spending time with their pets.
