Setting New Records in the 4x400m Relay!
In the exciting 4×400-meter relay race, China’s team set a new national record! 🥳 The team was made up of Liang Baotang, Mo Jiadie, Zhang Qining, and Liu Yinglan. They zoomed around the track with a time of 3 minutes and 13.39 seconds! ⏱️
First up was Liang, who dashed the first lap in just 44.91 seconds! He passed the baton to Mo, and the race was on! 🏃♂️ Even though teams from Germany, Spain, and Jamaica took the lead, China stayed close behind. In the final stretch, Liu sprinted past Jamaica’s runner to clinch third place! 🎉 That means they’re going to Tokyo!
Winning the Women’s 4x100m Relay!
The excitement didn’t stop there! China also won the women’s 4×100-meter relay. 🏆 Because one runner, Liang Xiaojing, got hurt, Zhu Junying stepped in to join Chen Yujie, Li Yuting, and Ge Manqi. They sped to the finish line with a season-best time of 43.03 seconds! 🚀 Now they’re headed to Tokyo too!
Men’s 4x100m Relay Team Qualifies!
Not to be outdone, the men’s 4×100-meter relay team also qualified! 🙌 Shi Junhao and He Jinxian joined Zeng Keli and Wang Shengjie to form a speedy squad. They finished the race in 38.03 seconds, another season-best time! 🥇 Tokyo, here they come!
