Hey everyone! Did you know that today is the 114th International Nurses Day? 🩺✨ It happens every year on May 12th, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, who is known as the founder of modern nursing.
This year’s theme is “Our nurses. Our future. Caring for nurses strengthens health systems.” That means nurses are super important for keeping us all healthy! 🌍❤️
In the Chinese mainland, there are more and more nurses each year! According to the National Health Commission, the number of nurses has been growing by about 8% every year! That’s a lot of new nurses helping people. 🥳
Why is this important? Well, nurses take care of us when we’re sick or need help. With more nurses, hospitals and clinics can help more people. It also means better health for everyone!
So, let’s give a big thank you to all the amazing nurses out there! 👏👏👏 They work hard every day to keep us safe and healthy.
