The countries included were Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago. That’s a lot of new friends! 😊
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the China-CELAC Forum. What’s that, you ask? It’s a special group where China and countries from Latin America and the Caribbean get together to chat and plan cool projects! 🗺️
Over the past 10 years, they’ve done amazing things together. Leaders from all these Caribbean countries have visited China, and they’ve worked on important projects like building schools, hospitals, and roads. These projects help people live better lives! 🏫🚑🚧
They’ve also been sharing cultures, which means learning about each other’s music, food, and traditions. How fun is that? 🎶🍲🎊
In the meeting, they talked about how they can keep supporting each other. China wants to help Caribbean countries develop on their own and will offer scholarships so students can study in China. Maybe one day, you could study abroad too! 🎓✈️
They also agreed to work together on big global issues like climate change. By teaming up, they hope to make the world a fairer and happier place for everyone! 🌍❤️
