China’s Zhang Haiqin Breaks Records at Asian Weightlifting Championships! ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ

Hey everyone! Have you heard about Zhang Haiqin? She’s an amazing 18-year-old weightlifter from China who just did something incredible at the Asian Weightlifting Championships in Jiangshan, east China’s Zhejiang Province!

Zhang competed in the women’s 55-kilogram category, and guess what? She won three gold medals and broke the world junior records! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ She successfully lifted 99kg in the snatch, which was her first gold. Then, she powered through a whopping 126kg in the clean and jerk. Altogether, she lifted a total of 225kg! Can you imagine lifting that much weight?

But that’s not all the excitement from the competition! In the men’s 61kg division, China’s Wang Hao had a strong start, winning gold in the snatch with a lift of 142kg. However, Pak Myong Jin from the DPRK (that’s the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) made a spectacular comeback in the clean and jerk. Pak lifted 170kg, which helped him win golds in both the clean and jerk and the overall total.

Meanwhile, in the men’s 67kg class, China’s Zheng Xinhao won gold in the snatch with a lift of 147kg. But during the clean and jerk, he only managed to lift 170kg, earning him a bronze. Vietnam’s Tran Minh Tri took advantage of the opportunity and won the total gold with a combined lift of 318kg, just one kilogram more than Zheng!

Isn’t it amazing how these athletes push themselves to achieve such incredible feats? Maybe one day, you’ll be inspired to lift weights or try out a new sport! Remember, with dedication and hard work, you can achieve great things too! ๐Ÿ’ช
