Every April, at the Qinling National Botanical Garden in Xi’an City, the dove trees burst into bloom. Their flowers look just like white doves spreading their wings, making the whole garden look like it’s filled with birds taking flight! 🌸🕊️
In the wild, dove trees take about 25 years to start flowering. That’s a long time to wait! But scientists at the botanical garden have found a way to help them bloom in just 7 to 10 years. Even better, they’ve found a way to make the seeds sprout in just six months instead of two years! 🌱
Now, they’re sharing these beautiful trees with more places. They’re helping cities like Xi’an, Baoji, and Zhengzhou plant dove trees along streets and in parks. Soon, more people will get to see these incredible trees and their dove-like flowers! 🏙️🌳
