On Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with South African Minister Ronald Lamola in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. They talked about how their countries can work together to help each other grow and succeed.

Minister Wang Yi said that China is ready to work with African countries to be more independent and strong. He wants everyone to work together so they can decide their own futures!
Minister Lamola agreed and said that South Africa is excited to work more with China in things like trade, new energy (like solar and wind power), education, and building skills. 🚀
He also mentioned that some countries are not playing fair in global trade, which makes it harder for places like Africa to grow. That’s why it’s important for countries in the Global South to stick together!
