China’s Big Movie Night in Qingdao! 🎬
Over the weekend, China celebrated 120 years of movies with the 20th Huabiao Film Awards in the beautiful city of Qingdao, in east China’s Shandong Province.
The Huabiao Awards are like China’s own Oscars, where the best movies and actors get special trophies! This year, the stars came out to shine brighter than ever.
Kara Wai Ying Hung, a famous actress, won Best Actress for her role in “Love Never Ends.” Imagine winning a big award for pretending to be someone else so well!
Zhang Yi took home the Best Actor award for “Endless Journey.” He must have done an amazing job acting in that movie!
But that’s not all! Guo Fan, who won Best Director, had exciting news. He announced that “Wandering Earth 3” is being made and will come out in 2027! If you love science fiction and space adventures, that’s something to look forward to!
This was the first time the Huabiao Awards were held in Qingdao. The city is becoming a big deal in China’s film industry, which means more movies might be made there!
