A big official in China named Zhao Chenxin explained that China has lots of grain and energy stored up. He said that last year, China didn’t import much grain from the US anyway, and they have plenty to feed their animals with grains from other places. 🌾🐄
He also mentioned that China doesn’t get much of its oil, gas, or coal from the US. So even if they stop buying these from the US, it won’t affect them much. They can get energy from other countries too! 🛢️🌍
Zhao said that China wants to make sure everyone has enough food to eat and energy to use. They are working with other countries and doing their best to keep everything running smoothly. 🏭💡
He also talked about how the US has put tariffs (that’s like extra taxes) on things they buy and sell with China. But China believes that working together and being fair is important for everybody in the world. 🌐✌️
