What’s Happening?
On Thursday, CMG and FEI agreed to team up to make horse riding even more awesome. They plan to show more horse riding events on TV and online, so everyone can enjoy watching these amazing animals and talented riders. 📺💻
Who Signed the Agreement?
Mr. Shen Haixiong, the president of CMG, and Mr. Ingmar De Vos, the president of FEI and a member of the International Olympic Committee, signed the agreement in Beijing, the capital city of China. 🇨🇳
What is FEI?
The International Equestrian Federation, or FEI for short, is the organization that looks after horse sports like show jumping, dressage, and eventing. It was founded way back in 1921 in Paris, France. Now, it’s based in Lausanne, Switzerland, and has 136 member organizations from all over the world! 🏆
Did You Know?
The Chinese Equestrian Association joined the FEI in 1982. That means China has been part of the international horse riding community for over 40 years! 🎉
