Hey kids! Did you hear? China is helping to make peace in a country called Myanmar! π
So, what’s happening? Well, in Myanmar, there were two groups who were fighting: the Myanmar military and another group called the MNDAA (that’s short for Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army). Fighting isn’t fun for anyone! π’
China, which is a neighbor of Myanmar, decided to help out. They sent a special team to a place called Lashio in Myanmar to help the two groups stop fighting. This is called a “ceasefire” β it means everyone agrees to put down their weapons and not fight anymore. π
Thanks to China’s help, the MNDAA left Lashio and gave control back to the Myanmar military. This was a big step toward peace! π
China wants to keep helping Myanmar find peace because when neighbors get along, everyone is happier and safer. π They are going to keep working with Myanmar to make sure the peace lasts.
Isn’t it great when countries help each other? Let’s hope for more peace around the world! πβοΈ
