Hey movie lovers! π₯ Did you know that some of the world’s very first films are celebrating big birthdays this year?
At the Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), people are honoring 120 years of China’s first film, “Dingjunshan”, and 130 years of the world’s first film, “Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat”!
Back in the day, movies were black-and-white and silent. Imagine watching a movie without sound or color! But even then, they were magical.
China’s film industry has grown so much since then. From “Dingjunshan” to high-tech animated movies like “Ne Zha”, China is now the world’s second-largest movie market! π¬π
With new technology and creative ideas, who knows what amazing movies will come next? Maybe one day, you’ll be making movies too!
