China’s Trade Grows in Q1 Thanks to ASEAN Friendship ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿค

Hey there! Did you know that in the first part of this year, China’s trade has grown? ๐Ÿ“ˆ That’s right! Even with some challenges in the world, China’s trade in goods went up by 1.3% compared to last year, reaching a huge number: 10.3 trillion yuan (that’s about $1.41 trillion)! ๐Ÿ’ฐ

China’s exports (that’s when they sell things to other countries) grew even more โ€“ by 6.9%! That’s a lot of toys, electronics, and other cool stuff being sent around the world. ๐Ÿงธ๐Ÿ“ฆ

A big part of this success is thanks to the friendship with countries in ASEAN. ASEAN stands for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, which includes countries like Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. ๐ŸŒ These countries are China’s biggest trading partners right now. Trade with ASEAN countries grew by 7.1%, reaching 1.71 trillion yuan! That’s 16.6% of all China’s trade. Wow! ๐Ÿคฏ

Vietnam is the top trading partner within ASEAN. Together, China and Vietnam are trading lots of goods, helping both economies grow. ๐Ÿค

Even though there are some challenges in the world economy, a top official from China’s customs department said, “the sky won’t fall” for China’s exports. ๐ŸŒค๏ธ That means they’re confident things will keep going well!

The official also mentioned that China’s big domestic market (that’s the people inside China buying stuff) is a strong backup for the economy. So, even if things get tricky globally, China can rely on its own people to keep things steady. ๐Ÿ

Isn’t it interesting how countries work together and help each other grow? Maybe one day, you’ll be part of these exciting global connections! ๐ŸŒ
