🌏 Hey there! Did you know that the world has a super important group called the International Atomic Energy Agency (or IAEA for short)? They work hard to make sure that countries use nuclear energy safely and peacefully! 💡
Recently, China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, met with the leader of the IAEA, Rafael Mariano Grossi, in Beijing. Wang Yi asked the IAEA to do its best to help solve some big nuclear issues around the world. 🚀
These issues include the Iranian nuclear problem and something called AUKUS nuclear submarine cooperation, which involves the United States, Britain, and Australia working together on nuclear-powered submarines. 🌊
Wang Yi said it’s super important for all countries to work together and stand up for fairness. He thinks that if big countries do whatever they want, smaller countries might get hurt. 🤝
He also mentioned that the United Nations (UN) was created to help keep things fair and equal among countries. So, the UN and groups like the IAEA should play a big role in making sure everyone follows the rules. 🕊️
Mr. Grossi from the IAEA agreed! He said that China is like a steady ship in a stormy sea, helping to keep the world stable. The IAEA wants to work closely with China to make sure nuclear energy is used safely and to help solve problems like the Iranian nuclear issue. 🚢
