Hey kids! Did you hear the news? 📣 China’s President Xi Jinping sent a special message to leaders in Latin America and the Caribbean! 🌎
The leaders are meeting at a big event called the 9th summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, or CELAC for short. This meeting is happening in Tegucigalpa, which is the capital city of Honduras. 🇭🇳
In his letter, President Xi said that the world is changing really fast, and countries like China and those in Latin America and the Caribbean are becoming stronger together. 💪
He congratulated them on working hard to keep their regions peaceful and to help their people live better lives. He also said that China and these countries have become great friends, working together and learning from each other! 🤝
This year, China will host another big meeting with CELAC in Beijing, China’s capital city. 🇨🇳 President Xi invited all the countries to join and work together to make the world a better place! 🌍
