Hey everyone! Did you hear about the brave rescuers from China who helped save people after a big earthquake in Myanmar?
A strong earthquake, measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale, hit Myanmar on Friday. That’s really powerful! In Mandalay, the city closest to where the quake happened, buildings shook and some collapsed.
A Chinese civilian rescue team called Ramunion jumped into action! They found a person trapped under the rubble and saved them. How amazing is that?
But they didn’t stop there! They also found three more survivors and opened a path to get supplies to people who were trapped.
Right now, they had to pause their rescue work because of fires caused by the earthquake. They’ll start again once the firefighters make things safe.
