Hey there! Did you hear the big news? China and France have decided to work together to keep our world more connected! π€
On Thursday, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with France’s Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot in Beijing. They talked about how important it is for countries to cooperate and not to separate or “decouple” (that’s a fancy word for breaking relationships).
Why is this important? π
In our world today, many things are connectedβlike how your favorite video game might be made in one country but played everywhere! China and France want to make sure that countries keep sharing and working together so everyone benefits.
Working Together for a Better Future π
Wang Yi said that China and France should choose talking over fighting and teamwork over going solo. They want to make the world fair so all countries, big or small, have a say.
Jean-Noel Barrot agreed! He said France sees China as an important friend and wants to have a long-lasting relationship. France supports free trade (when countries buy and sell without too many rules) and doesn’t like the idea of countries stopping working together.
Taking Care of Our Planet π±
After their meeting, China and France promised to work together to fight climate change. They want to protect our Earth and make sure it’s healthy for all of us.
Exciting Times Ahead! π
They plan to work together in cool areas like farming, space exploration, and new technologies like artificial intelligence and green energy.
They also want to encourage students and young people (like you!) to learn from each other and maybe even visit each other’s countries someday.
Building Friendships Around the World π
Both countries believe that by working together, they can help make the world a more peaceful place. They hope other countries will join in and promote friendship and cooperation too!
Isn’t it awesome when countries team up to make the world better? Maybe one day, you’ll be part of these big changes too! π
