Hey soccer fans! Guess what? China’s Under-22 soccer team just won the International Invitation Tournament in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province! ๐ They played three tough games and didn’t lose a single one. Isn’t that awesome?
In their final match on Tuesday, they faced Vietnam. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, but that was enough for China to lift the trophy! ๐
During the game, Kuai Jiwen nearly scored a goal when his shot hit the crossbar. So close! But Vietnam’s Nguyen Quoc Viet did score in the 31st minute, putting China behind. ๐ฎ
But China didn’t give up. In the 71st minute, Mutellip Iminqari was fouled in the penalty box. That means he was illegally stopped by the other team while he was close to scoring. So, China got a penalty kick! โฝ๏ธ
Afrden Asqer stepped up and scored the penalty, making the game 1-1! ๐ Even though Zhang Yixuan got a second yellow card (which means he had to leave the game), China held on tight. With one player less, they didn’t let Vietnam score again. ๐ก๏ธ
Earlier in the tournament, China had a 0-0 draw with Uzbekistan and a 1-0 victory over South Korea. That means they finished with one win and two draws, and five points in total. Way to go, team China! ๐
It’s always exciting to see young athletes achieving great things. Maybe one day, you’ll be out there scoring goals too! Keep dreaming big! ๐
