The United States has decided to put new trade restrictions on many Chinese companies. This means these companies might have trouble buying or selling products with the U.S. It’s like telling them they can’t play in the same game anymore.
Guo Jiakun, a spokesperson from China’s Foreign Ministry, talked about this on Wednesday. He said the U.S. is being like a bully by making these new rules. He thinks the U.S. is using “national security” as an excuse to hurt Chinese companies.
Guo said these actions break international laws and hurt businesses all over the world. “China firmly opposes and strongly condemns such actions,” he stated.
He asked the U.S. to stop turning trade and technology into weapons. China wants the U.S. to stop adding Chinese companies to these restriction lists.
China says it will do what it needs to protect its companies’ rights!
